About Japan Federation of Credit Guarantee Corporations
Japan Federation of Credit Guarantee Corporations (JFG) is a nonprofit organization with a membership comprised of all of the 51 Credit Guarantee Corporations (CGCs) in Japan.
JFG conducts the operations with the aim of contributing to the healthy development of CGCs, and thereby providing smooth financing to SMEs.
JFG was established in 1951, and in November 2008, designated as a guarantee business support organization under the Credit Guarantee Corporation Law by the national government.
CGCs in Japan are public institutions that support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by serving as public guarantors to make it easier for them to borrow funds, which are necessary for their business operations, from financial institutions.
